Leith Hill Music Festival presents
Some of you will have attended the Come & Sing before so welcome back! We have missed you! If you have never been to our singing workshop then you are in for a treat.
Come & Sing is simple. Come to Dorking Halls, say hello to newbies and experienced singers alike, and sing! We learn about the history, composition and dynamics of Verdi’s Requiem, rehearse together under expert tuition and then perform, to ourselves and our conductor as if we are in the Albert Hall!
Our conductor Jonathan Willcocks cannot wait to raise you back up into the beautiful world of music, in the only way choral music can draw us together, in our community. A part of your community is our distinguished pianist Alan Brown who will be accompanying.
Four brilliant young professional soloists will join us. They are an inspiration to listen to and follow. Leith Hill Music Festival pride itself on encouraging and providing a platform for burgeoning talent and these young soloists form part of our growing community.
This is a journey into one of classical music’s most exciting and dramatic works. You must COME & SING!
This event will be following government Covid-19 guidelines.
Saturday 16th October
Bring a friend! You do not need to read music to join us. We all learn together.
